  • Kelley Cox, DVM


    Dr. Cox is a 2014 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine as well as a 2007 graduate, with honors, from the University of Florida, Animal Science. Originally from Crabapple, Georgia, Kelley has been in Ocala, Florida, since 1996 training and showing Paso Fino horses. She is excited to join the Animal Clinic team after being a client for over 18 years. Kelley enjoys caring for animals, large and small.  Continuing to show and train Paso Finos, Dr. Cox is now  the current owner of Animal Clinic.

    Ashley is our dedicated Practice Manager, she has been a part of the Animal Clinic team since 2007. Her goal is to provide excellent client communications, education and to ensure that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently in all aspects of our clinic day to day. She is also heavily involved in 4H and leading a local club and teaching our youth about agriculture and animal sciences.

  • Alyssa

        As our Lead Receptionist, Alyssa's is the first face you'll see (and more than likely the first voice) at the Animal Clinic. As an integral part of our reception team, she is there to greet our clients and their pets upon arrival and to ensure our front office runs efficiently. She is also there to schedule your pets' appointments and answer any questions you may have.

    Julie's love for animals started at a very young age.She doesn't consider her time at Animal Clinic a job, because she is allowed to spend time with all of the fur babies that come through the door every day.

    Jody is a vital aspect of the animal clinic, as our head technician, she is dedicated to ensuring our clients and their pets get the best care possible, either through client education or friendly welcomes, there aren't many who come through the animal clinic who don't know Jody. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and stays busy as a mom of 3 boys.
